How do I manage my account?

In your account settings, you have many options that you can set, including managing your subscription, email preferences, and payment information. Here is a quick cheat sheet on how to manage your settings.

Managing your personal inforrmation

On the left-hand side of the page are the various options for managing your account. Here, you can change your name, email address, location, picture and other biographical information and passowrd


Why do I need a picture?


Having a picture up helps hosts know who you are. Sometimes they ask to approve all reservations. Without a picture, your reservation may not be approved. While we require a picture for the host, you can hide your picture from other attnedess on the event page. Learn more about how to manage your picture settingshere.


Email subscriptions

In this section of your account, you can manage which emails you receive from us. These emails allow us to tell you about groupmuses going on near you in addition to other special groupmuses like Massivemuses and discounted partner tickets through our Nights Out Program.   • For hosts: You can turn visibility on or off to Groupmuse musicians. If you turn it on, your host page will show up for musicians who are looking for hosts.
  • For musicians: you may have multiple pages for different ensembles that you perform groupmuses with. On the privacy settings page, you can turn on and off visibility for any of your profiles.

Payment Settings

  • Update your credit card information: click "payment methods" to add or remove a credit card. This page will also show you all your previous transactions with us, including donations and rsvp's.
  • Donations and subscriptions - click on Foundation contributions" where you can manage your subscriptions and contributions to the Groupmuse Foundation
  • Groupmuse payouts: musicians can manage any pending payouts that groupmusers made on our website.
  • You can manage your supermuser status by clicking on "Supermuser membership". To learn more about pricing in general, see our article: What's the pricing for groupmuses?
