How to boost your event using facebook
You can create a facebook event and invite people from your friends list! Make sure you like our page on facebook as well. Here's some instructions with screen shots on how to manage your event.
Sharing the event to your timeline
You can share an event to your timeline. Anyone who follows you or is friends with you on Facebook will see your public post on your profile page or when they are scrolling through their timeline.
Click the arrow in the menu bar underneath the event title to share a post to your timeline. Be sure to set your visibility preferences to as public as you feel comfortable.
Invite your friends
Click the envelope in the menu bar underneath the event title to send individual invites. Your friends on facebook will appear here.
Direct message folks on your friends list
Click on the arrow to share your event. In the window that appears click the three dots labelled "more" under "Send in Messenger" to send your event as a direct message. These messages will be sent separately to each person.
Write on the event's page and tag your friends in your post
When you post directly on the event page, you can tag friends. When you tag them, they'll be directed to the event page to view your post. This will make it even easier for them to rsvp as they'll already be on the event page.
